What is PlayFunded?v
PlayFunded is a sports trading evaluation platform. You buy a challenge, prove your sports trading skill across two phases, and move into funded access if your market permits the commercial terms.
Is PlayFunded available in my country?v
Availability, checkout methods, and payout methods vary by country. Some markets are public review markets and some are blocked entirely, including the United States.
Am I trading with real money?v
Challenge and funded balances are simulated. Payouts, where enabled, are based on simulated performance and remain subject to KYC, method availability, and country approval.
The challenge
What are the two phases?v
Phase 1 requires +20% profit from your starting balance in a minimum of 15 picks. Phase 2 requires +20% profit from a fresh starting balance in 15 more picks. Both phases require staying within the risk rules.
What happens if I fail a challenge?v
In phase challenges, if you breach the drawdown (−15%) or daily loss (−10%) limits, your challenge ends. Funded accounts are only subject to the overall drawdown (−15%) — no daily loss limit applies. You can buy a new challenge at any time.
Can I retry a failed challenge?v
Yes. There's no limit on retries. Each challenge is independent, requires its own entry fee, and those fees are non-refundable.
Why are there minimum picks required?v
The minimum of 15 picks per phase ensures that your profitability is demonstrated over a statistically meaningful sample, not just a lucky streak.
Risk rules
How is drawdown calculated?v
Drawdown is calculated from the starting balance of each phase. If your balance falls more than 15% below that starting balance, the challenge ends. Funded accounts use the same rule (no daily loss limit applies when funded).
When does the daily loss limit reset?v
The daily loss limit applies during Phase 1 and Phase 2 only. It resets every day at 00:00 UTC, with your starting balance for the day recorded at that point. Funded accounts have no daily loss limit.
Is there a maximum stake per pick?v
Yes. The maximum stake per pick is 5% of your starting balance for the current phase.
Payouts
When can I request a payout?v
Payout requests are only available in approved markets after KYC. If your market is still under review, funded access does not guarantee immediate payout availability.
Why do I need to verify my identity (KYC)?v
Identity verification is required before your first payout to comply with financial regulations and prevent fraud.
What payment methods are available for payouts?v
Payout methods are enabled market by market after processor and compliance approval.
How long does a payout take?v
If payouts are enabled in your market, delivery timing depends on the method, destination country, and review status.
Other
Can I buy a challenge as a gift?v
Gift purchases are disabled in review markets until legal, processor, and copy approvals are complete.
What sports can I trade?v
We cover soccer (Liga MX, Copa Libertadores, Premier League, and more), basketball (NBA), American football (NFL), tennis (ATP/WTA), and MMA (UFC/Bellator). Market types: moneyline, handicap (spread), and totals.
